Final Words

As some of you have already heard Andrea and I are moving back to North Carolina. We were not even looking to move back, it was just one of those opportunities that we could not pass up. It is very exciting to get back home to family and old friends, but even with the excitement there is a bit of sadness having to leave all the new friends that we have met here and throughout this state as well as the neighboring states. I am not great with words or I guess you could say not very prolific, especially in such matters of the heart such as this, so I will try to make this short and to the point. I know, I can already hear some of you saying, "Too Late". The time we have spent in Birmingham has been just a wonderful experience for us. We are really glad that we got the opportunity to come down here. George Ward is probably one of the nicest golf courses I have ever had the pleasure to play. Was even a greater pleasure to be able to be a part of the improvements at George Ward. A lot or work has gone in to that course these past few years and it is hard to walk away from it. It has truly been a labor of love. For some of you this is probably good-bye, to others this is so long until we meet again at some tournament or other. Good luck to everyone and God Bless.
