DGB Mini @ InDiGo - Sunday 4/15 |

The baskets are in, the tee-pads are poured, now it's time to break this course in!
We're scheduling a few unsanctioned single round minis to break in the course and raise funds for the official course opening in a few months!
Signups: 8:00am-9:30am
Players Meeting: 9:40am
Tee-off: 10:00am
$20 all divisions. Pros, side action at your discretion.
75% pay out, 25% towards the InDiGo Inaugural PDGA event.
Am's will receive prizes, Pros will receive cash.
If you haven't played the course before, this is a great chance to get a tour. If you haven't played a tournament before, DGB Mini's are a great way to try out a tournament atmosphere!

Inverness Work Day - Sunday, April 1st - 10am - 2pm |

Hey guys and gals, we're having another work day on Sunday. If the weather holds ALL sleeves will be in! So we'll need a few people to help install the last baskets, and do some general trail marking/clearing around the course. This is likely going to be a "place and play" type situation, so come on out if you want can!

This Saturday, March 10th, will be a workday at Inverness Disc Golf Park. We have quite a few projects to tackle before this course will be ready to officially open so come on out and help get this course finished!
Hopefully, we'll have a good solid work day and finish off with a little preview round now that there are tee-pads on every hole!
Resources we desperatly need:
Chainsaw & operator
Someone with switchback trail building experience
Loppers
Pole Saws
Shovels
Be sure to bring some work gloves as well.
We will meet in the parking lot near hole 1 at 9:00am and break off in teams to tackle projects. Hope to see a good crowd!

As a PDGA-affiliate Club, DGB passes along the $5 savings on new memberships and renewals. Note: They do charge a $3 handling fee either way online, so be sure to choose DGB in the dropdown if you renew online at the link above and you'll come out better than using the general online option.
2012 is going to be a great year for disc golf!!!
Note: joining pdga sometimes confuses people; some thinking by joining the PDGA they are also joining Disc Golf Birmingham, which in fact are separate organizations. PDGA is the world sanctioning body for the sport which provides player ratings, whereas DGB is the local area club supporting local courses. We'll announce shortly how to become a DGB club member and will be starting our 2012 membership drive at our yearly Ice Bowl in Feb 2012.

Time for another club meeting. Monday, December 19 at the Hoover Library. Meeting starts @ 7:00 downstairs. Anthony Smith has several items on the agenda. So make plans to attend. If you would like to bring any items to eat, I would recommend brownies and milk or doughnuts and coffee. Thanks!!!!!
