My wife is from there and so are the in laws. Ive only been playing for a little over a year but have played a lot of courses in Fl,one at Chehaw in Albany Ga. and several around Denver Co.

I was hoping to gain some insight as to what are some of the better courses ie good signage,elevation changes and so on. Right now I can only drive around 280-300 but I still love playing big courses just as much as small tech/wooded courses. It would be great to hook up with a few locals and play some courses just to get more details on the course and to see how you guys throw down in the Heart of Dixie. None of my wifes friends play so they are pretty much useless in my goal to play as many good courses as possible.

Just a few details about me and where my game is... Home courses are Bill Fredrick Park (Turkey Lake Park) and Gordon Barnet Park both of which are in Orlando.
35 years old novice,left handed,back hand is stronger than my forehand but I am getting better at my flicks. Still working out the kinks on putting but who isnt. I love to play with all types of players and see if their game could help improve mine.Have a terrible addiction to plastic.

If anyone would be so gracious to show me around Id be more than happy to return the favor in FL! We will be staying in the Cahaba Heights/Vestavia area but will be able to travel where ever I need to.

Any input or help would be awesome!!!!!

Billy Drake and Corey Mattas have cooked up this interesting layout for Brahan
Springs! Pro Pads on every hole at Brahan, with the goal being to have carpet for each one. Then, across the street, Billy will bring out his portable DisCatcher Pro Targets to make a temp 9 that will be played twice around for an 18 hole round. The land across the street is very picturesque and will make a great temp course.

One Round on each course.

Corey's uncle, who is a BBQ legend, will be offering up an optional $6 per plate BBQ lunch with a BBQ Sandwich, Slaw, Beans, Sweet Tea & Peach Cobbler for dessert! A great deal for a catered lunch!!

Just wanted to post a little info on Event #3 to give you guys a heads up to whats coming. There will be a little different setup than what everyone is used to for the Open and Advanced players we will be mending hole 10 and 11 and will also be mending hole 14 with hole A. More details on that later. This will make for two rounds of 22 holes
Hole sponserships are $20 and just let me know what to put on the sign. If you have artwork please forward it to me no later than 1 week from the tourney.
Hole sponsers get a sign and also will pick the spot for that hole. Holes are available as follows
