Basically, soon as I woke up Monday from getting home from Bowling Green LATE Sunday I packed and hit the road for 8 hrs to drive an office worth of computers to Jacksonville to set up. Been exhausted all week, but today I managed to make it out to see Jack Hicks and the gang from River City Disc Golf Association (http://www.rcdga.org) and play in their pro-am doubles. We had an odd number and I instantly volunteered to be mulligan man (they had another name for it I cant recall) but they wouldn't have it. So... we drew for positions using numbered pairs of poker chips and what do you know - I drew odd man out anyhow! This was great since I got one extra throw per hole which is why I volunteered in the first place ;) The pair I was with, Scott and Jeff were both AMAZING putters on top of everything else, finishing -6 (a -12 won it). I managed a -1 on 18 holes myself which I was quite proud of (since almost all my mulligans were 2nd tees as the distances were deceiving), managing 4 birdies and 3 bogies in the round. Being a former ball golf course, the course was one of the more beautiful courses I've ever seen with a mix of sand, grass and palmetto. If I manage another round I have to take some pics.

Anyhow, I joined their club and Jack joined ours (Justin this is your reminder I owe DGB that $20) which was pretty cool since I got a nice stamped aviar with their club logo and will be mailed a member tag.

Time to cut this novel short and get some sleep, just bored as hell here in the hotel and this seemed like a good way to unwind. Hopefully I'll be home before Sat to see my good buddy George Ward :p

Sounds like a great time Jebb, I hope work takes you our way eventually. We really miss Ward too...

And I really miss anything close to par...
