Was out there yesterday and the city had cut the grass on holes 12 and 13, looks great! also noticed where they had sprayed some more in the woods and the left fairway of 17. if you see them out there be sure and thank them.

Good to hear they're going to mow over around those holes. I was getting worried about that.

Whats the latest on the tee-pads? Do we need to start working up a fundraiser tournament or something?

I'll definately donate to this cause... one day soon #3's teebox and i are going to have a fight...and i think the teebox will win. its cousin at GW (hole E in the forest) almost gets me every time.

unrelated question- is there a mando at GW on 18 now? there was a sign after the tourney, but someone took it down. tom told some of my friends that its "supposed to be there". this affects me because i love launching a hyzer on the other side of it... it always seems to get out of the woods for me but if i go thru the mando its the disc version of pinball.

Yeah, someone was nice enough to "remove" that.

Re: the 18 route, I think thats an awesome throw as well...BUT the mando is there for safety. One of these days someone is going to be just out of view on 10 in the ditch and get cracked in the head....or a ricochet is going to get someone on 11's tee-box.

I have the sign in my trunk, It'll be going back up. I just need to meet someone with a ladder out there.
