So I was running way ahead of schedule today. I was driving from Florence (where i left Lily) to Charleston, WV where I'm working this week.
I guess I assumed the drive was longer because I found myself in Louisville, only three house from my destination, before lunch. I called a buddy to get on the PDGA website and tell me any courses between Louisville and Charleston. Turns out there are two courses in Lexington where the A-Tier Lexington Open are held. Shillito park was the closest to the interestate and had signs, I was sold.
I showed up and as i was throwing a couple warmup shots from the first tee (a little pitch about 250ft to a low ceiling pin placement) two recs walked up and I asked if they would show me around, really cool guys. Two rec players now think i'm a pro (despite my multiple pleas that it was "all luck").
So between me and Michael last week (congrats again Michael) it looks like you're due next!

It was a 280ft-ish uphill blind shot. Think #2 short at GW with a big bush 30' by 30' bush right in front of the pin so you have to throw a big hyzer. I threw my star baby roc. I celebrated when i got to Charleston with three roadhouse tea's.....which will explain any mispelling in this post...haha.
You're up Drake, I know yours is next!
