Trussville Invasion!

catchy title eh? I was at Trussville today, May 12th. They are setting up tents around hole 11. They may encroach on 10 as well. Just a heads up.

I spoke with Earl the other day and he said there was a wedding in progress while he was trying to play there the weekend of the Golden George.

just remember this is a city park and not just a golf course, we have to respect other park users as well.

Oh yeah, and I get the feeling most people just don't realize whats happening or they would locate in other areas (like the guys having the cookout when we were playing....)

We were out today, and there was a huge barbeque festival going on on hole 11, and they were using #10 as a parking lot.

At least this is a nice enough park where the city wants to hold events there. It could be worse, we could be in the ghetto and our cars could get broken into while we are on the course.

I am even willing to bet the city would be willing to help schedule disc golf tournaments in so that we are not interfered with either.

why i was at trussville too, nice course, we got to play all the holes, i shot a nice +1 (from the white tees) I was happy with it

Great course, could use some cleaning up, but its a new course :D
