Ok, we have a lot of work to do Friday....

I figure we will utilize at least 4 teams of two working on laying out the OB string. I figure we will use more string instead of paint as the chance of rain could wash away paint. We will keep the string as flush to the ground as possible with exception of the OB lakes on #5. Those strings will be placed higher to trap rollers from going through them.

I will start crews on hole 1,9,10, and 18. 1 and 10 will work forward, 9 and 18 will work backward. They will string fairways until they meet.

Each group needs to have a working cell phone as this is how you will communicate with me concerning questions, and I can get to you to clarify problems, find solutions.

I will need a team of two to start hanging mando signs. TK has given screws, I will provide extras.

We need a 6ft ladder, and a electric screwdriver to install the signs.

I will need this crew to dedicate themselves to show up at 7:30am Saturday morning to quality check ropes/signs to ensure they were not destroyed by late night wanderers.

This crew will assist in moving #16 ropes and basket after round two Saturday evening to set up for the Sunday round.

This crew will show up at 8:00am Sunday to quality check the ropes/signs again. After the completion of the 3rd and final round. I will need this crew to clean up the ropes/signs/and stakes. There will be no markings from the tournament once we leave on Sunday, with exception to paint that has been laid out, that will eventually wash away.

Again, thank you very much for helping out. I could not do it without you all.

Hammers, you will need hammers.

I have one rubber mallot and a 2lb framing hammer.

Put me down for the early crews

Got a hammer

Got a cordless screwdriver with enough power to mount a Mando sign.

I'm thinking If someone with a ladder can help me out we can put up the Mando signs Thursday after 5. Anyone with a ladder available?

Contact me 706-1301 if you desire to put up signs early. They are at my house.

Give me at least 3 hours notice prior to picking them up, you may have to pick them up from my office here in Pelham.

I have a class on friday from 12:20-1:10 and I may have soccer practice (coaching) from 5-7. But other than that my day is free to work. So just keep that in mind when you're assigning jobs kris

Kris, I can be out there from dusk til dawn friday, and will help between rounds both days and after the 2nd round sunday. However, since I will have three folks staying at my house (30 minutes away) I am not sure I will be able to make the early morning crews. I imagine they will need to follow me or ride with me to the course to have any hope of finding it from BFE (aka. Pinson). I will also get all of the 'in the way' posts up friday afternoon and put them back down sunday evening. When will you be out friday, and are you going to be there today?

I am planning on coming out today. All depends on the Thunderstorms.

Thanks for picking up the spacer posts.

Friday we will start at 8am. Hopefully we can get done before the rain starts Friday afternoon. There are a few areas that will need paint instead of rope so I will do those first while the ground is still dry.

If they have not preregistered, then it is in their best interest to be at the Check in at 7:30am. There are no spots reserved for anyone; first 72 come, first 72 served.

I'll be out there today after 5 as well, and before 8 in the morning.

Kris,
Just to make sure i have everything i need for tommorrow/Saturday morning.

72x caddie guides
20x tee signs (two for 16 and 17)
5x "Do Not Throw from Here" signs for holes with natural tees

Do i need to make some "Frisbee Golf Tournament in Progress, please be aware of flying discs." or something signs? Or is that what HB is talking about?

#4, 16, and 17 are the only ones using natural pads.

I am taking care of the warning signs.

Gotcha.

Yeah, i figured i'd have a couple extra in case they disapear on Saturday. Actually i'll probably make 2 each of the tee signs...

When people will volunteer to be spotters sure.

We will need one on #4 if people want to take the high route for some crazy reason.

But no one is volunteering so far, everyone wants to play.

Some calls like that will have to be group decisions.

Well...thinking about #14 it shouldn't be _too_ hard to get a good group decision from the tee...You can all agree on which tree you went in front of/behind and go from there.

As for near the basket, if your tee-shot is halfway decent you should be able to see the basket. I think #13's second shot is going to be much harder to tell...the OB is so funny there.....The ams will have some questions i'm sure! :)
