Anyone dissing the whole corporate Xmas thing and gonna throw disc all day on 12-25. Nikki and I have already pledged the day to mass throwing instead of mass marketing, no diss on J.C just the corporate nature of the holiday.

Jebb and I were discussing this yesterday.
I think we are going to do a 10 or 11 o'clock round.
After that I haven't made any plans.
Have your service call my service....:D

bill Mr. Sipi is my service, so should I just put a note in his collar when I get to the park, btw biiig thanks for the help for Ruby, she's not bad when I'm proactive in places that I know she likes to get into "trouble". It was a blessing to have hogan to keep Mr. Sipi "busy", but Ruby is my wildabeast. jeb are you going to bring leftovers afterwords?

I've played Pease Park, Zilker, and Slaughter Creek. Zilker is only nine holes. Its pitch & put mostly. Pease is perhaps their most famous course. I haven't played it in several years, but remember it as a fun and challenging course. I played at Slaughter Creek just a few weeks ago. You'll need a local guide. Its layout has been changed fairly recently to steer clear of a walking/jogging path through the park (sounds like the kind of changes we may have too make should the proposed paths ever be installed in GW). It is almost rediculously difficult in some areas - a 600+ foot hole requiring a double "s" through scrub oaks. There are at least three of four other within driving distance in the Austin Metro area. Some locals recommended some pay-to-play courses about 20 miles south of town.

I may want to start a different thread, but at what stage is this proposed walking trail? It seems to me that walkers and golfers could live very symbiotically if the trail followed from tee to hole on most parts of the course, I've seen that work pretty well at a course in MS. Most walkers will just wait for a throw on the occasional clash at the pad, and most golfers don't mind waiting a few seconds for folks that are actually moving, it's the ones parked in the fairway that can be a little annoying.

Matt, the walking trail story started two years ago and is still a possibility.
Basically it would be a 6' wide asphalt path from the parking lot at 5 to the pavallion on 16. I'll show and tell more next time you are out there.

And even a bigger thanks to someones good parking that kept the wind off us afterwords up in the lot. Bill I have your beer bag will bring to park tomorrow. Nikki and I packed full for you(and us) when we went out this aft. Chris enjoyed having you over for the movie afterwords and lets see how many rounds are left to be played in the 06
