Time for another club meeting. Monday, December 19 at the Hoover Library. Meeting starts @ 7:00 downstairs. Anthony Smith has several items on the agenda. So make plans to attend. If you would like to bring any items to eat, I would recommend brownies and milk or doughnuts and coffee. Thanks!!!!!

It was a good meeting.

Christmas Classic raised $1920 for the club through donations, frisbee bowling, Am plastic (and we still managed a 152% pro payout and 129% Am payout).

We discussed club events for 2012. Need to schedule a meeting between everyone who will be involved in running a club C-Tier in 2012 (commitment to being THE TD). We'll need to get dates, locations, etc together (and compare to yearly event schedules) so we can go ahead and sanction these club events soon. Somewhere around 4 or 5 events (no less than 4 to cover all courses), which we shall call "DGB Tour 2012" to be able to make a large up-front disc order. Time/TD availability will determine how many tour events. Interest was expressed in keeping club events out of hottest Summer months (Jun, Jul, Aug). Justin plans to run a B-Tier at Indigo in the Spring which will involve unique plastic order and other considerations, so his event may not be included in 2012 tour so that we may run a tour event at Indigo at another time in 2012.

No exact figures given on checking acct funds since Marc was not available, but we should be perfectly fine on needed purchases going into 2012.

Short-term purchases to be made:
2012 Bagtags / Member package items
Discs to sell and use for payout (number TBD based on past usage, funds available, etc)
Locks for Civitan, GW, Indigo + extras (Aluminum locks like at Carter course)
Sanctioning fees for club C-Tier Tour

General course maintenance was discussed in detail, but overall club is on the right track. Goal is to complete much more work before Indigo becomes our primary focus. Remaining work at Civitan involves 5 additional sign/bag poles and getting new tee signs completed. Work at GW includes more tee pad work, probably one additional truck's worth of concrete. Carter still needing concrete pads.

If I forgot anything, please feel free to add. Thanks

One more item, Sunday Doubles. We discussed how Sunday doubles has sort of fallen by the wayside and getting someone to take responsibility every Sunday and turn in money has been quite the challenge.

As the club has matured and is now more focused on running tournaments, we decided to let Sunday Doubles expire as of Jan 1 and going forward we'll announce TBA club events on Sundays such as tournaments, minis and tag rounds with occasional doubles from time-to-time.
