Club Workday Saturday Dec 3

Its time for a workday disc golfers.
This workday will be Saturday December 3 @ 9:00.

(The Sec championship, which Alabama is not attending, is being played @ 3:00)

We will be working on the two Trussville courses.
We will meet at the parking lot of hole 15 at the Carter Course. We will be cleaning up some trees from the storms and what ever else Danny and Jebb has on the punch list. lol
(Also, if you can't make it, please don't post up that you can't attend-it leads people to believe that you actually attend workdays).

Wouldn't it be possible for Alabama to be in it if lsu loses to Arkansas?

Possibly, it depends on how the BCS rankings end up if that happens.

The top two BCS rated teams would be consider "tied" and it would come down to head to head.

So, if Arkansas wins and the BCS rankings are:
LSU ranked lowest = Bama goes
Arkansas ranked lowest = LSU goes
Alabama ranked lowest = Arkansas goes

Clear as mud? :)

Due to the poor turnout only about 1/3 of the work was completed.

If anyone has tomorrow (Sunday) open I'll be popping pain & arthitis pills and trying to get some more benches in.

I have to say I am a little disappointed in my dgb family. We have guest coming to our house in a few weeks. All of you should put in some time out at the course getting it ready for the CC. You know if I was in town I would have been there working...and I am the old man of the group.
Now get out there and pay it forward.

Woo Woo! Danny, db and I got almost everything done today. The four benches at hole 17 and 4 are SWEET!

Jebb tell your wife thanks for the Lobster sandwich and veggies.
We can now have that bon fire and concert at hole 17.
All benches at Lemaster look great. New hole 15 at Carter and 14 extended, plus a lot of other work completed . :) :) :) Lemaster is shaping up nice for the Christmas Classic , but we need a few more hands next Saturday . :) :) :)

db, Clifford and Danny are really, really, really good people!

Hole 18 @ Civitan, for lack of a better word = PIMP.

New benches now on 18 & 2 with prep work done for installs early next week on 6, 11, 15 and possibly hole 3, which will complete the course on benches!

6 - 8 more sign/bag poles and this course is ready to be part of an A-Tier next year.
