Official Trussville Course Record = Chad Smith - 50

Scratch (1000 rated round) = 54.38

Chad's round would be an approximate 1037/1036 rated round.

Just some info for ya...

Glad to see "The Drake" is back in action.

Joe shot the same thing in the mini event:D So, shall we say shared? Crazy part is Chad was -4 after 7 holes and then had a few bogies and birdies after that. Still a very fine round!

Thanks for running the event Bob and Kelly.

Interesting stuff Kris....i knew that course was hard. Chad told me after the event that it was "becoming his favorite course in Alabama". I guess it would be mine too if I could shoot a 1040 round at it...haha.

I officially know what it feels like to be in a bad slump now. All of the changes I've made to my game (more backhand throws, adding rollers, putting practice, etc.) have made my overall chances of scoring well on a given hole increase, but my chances of completely blowing up are now much greater on a given section of a course. Hopefully by the time the next tournament is held at Trussville I will be able to chop at least 15 strokes off my scores... we'll see. I'm in a disc golf funk for sure.

hey i played in your group of six yest. at doubles, and sure you were trying some crazy stuff, but your right-it's gonna make you a much better player. I find going out at lunchtime in the big field at five and just throwing all those crazy throws helps my game, you actually have the guts to pull them out in a real game. Bravo between that and nikki's new forarm she's pulling out I'm gonna have to work on my bowlers and get a forarm myself. I say always try something new.

A soccer field is good. You don't have to chase the ones in the net.!
