I'm going to be trying some new stuff with the website today so if it goes up/down please be patient.

I'm going to try to extend the right side "navigation" bar into the forums to allow us to get around the site a little better and see some more content while we're browsing around these forums.

I'm also going to try to complete the course maps for the site in the near future as well.

Matt, you said you have access to some GIS resources? I could use some flat undistorted aerial views to work with. I tried taking some screen caps out of google earth but it does some weird warping around the edges of the screen. Maybe you have a better resource?

If you run into any snags, give me a call Justin - yes-dolt is the number ;)

We have a pretty cool aerial package at work, I'd just have to see how well it zooms in.

Yeah, I can assist too, but it won't be til I get back from VA. All of my data resources are at the office.

Ok, well...I've got the left side nav-menu done.

I'm pretty happy with that, it doesn't eat up to much screen space and when i get our "navigation pane" working on the left the site will work alot more fluidly.

btw, something has always been weird about the cookies where forums which have been read still show icons for new posts. you have to go back into the forum one additional time for some reason.

changes are looking sweet man

are you using the back button in your browser or clicking on a link to get back to the main forum?

Ahh, I'm just a slacker at heart Thomas. This is what i do to keep from having to do "real work" at work....haha.

I'm going to leave this sticky up today because I'll be working on the site on and off today as well.
