Hey Guys, I'm potentially in the market for a new golf bag. Any suggestions on what to go with. I'd need a large tourney style bag. Non-backpack. Thanks.

I'm kind of impartial to my Revo Carolina. I've had mine for about 2 years now and it still looks like brand new. Holds up real well. If it starts looking worn or dirty just simply throw it in the washing machine. Loosens the bag up and makes it even better. I modified my inside frame so it fits a little better too. The top of the inside frame was rubbing on the inside of the bag and I've heard of "tear" stories so I modified it. If needed I'll explain further some other time.

Also, I figured I'd mention Voodoo Bags. They're on Facebook. Dave Feldberg I know uses their biggest one. Sturdy construction...I've heard good things. You might want to check into their bags. I don't know what else?

2nd, Revolution Carolina . I've owned two. I would still be using the first one but I left it in the trunk after a wet round and it mildewed. I wish I would have thought to toss it in the wash like George said!

I'm definitely leaning towards the Carolina Revo bag.

I've now had my Carolina for 4 years, still looks new. GREAT investment, I probably had gone through a combination of 5 or 6 Innova, Discraft, etc bags before the Revo. See sig quote.

The website says that thing only holds 16 discs!!!! How do yall play with less than 20 ?!?!?!?!!? :) Ha, I guess I'm spoiled with the double-decker backpack style.

Thats really the one thing holding me back from the carolina. I carry backups and including using the side panels in my current Gateway bag I carry around 22 discs. I could probably do fewer, but it is kind of nice to have the extras.

You can get 4 additional discs in the side pockets with ease and still have room for keys, wallet, misc.

you can also slide at least 3 more in to the main section putting them long ways in front and back of the main row of discs. I've got 20 in mine and dont even use the side pockets for discs.

ok, done. In 2-3 days I'll be the proud new owner of a Gold and Grey Revolution Carolina bag .

I added a pic of what to do for a frame modification. The frame that comes with fits very snug in the bag. You'll see when it arrives the 2 plastic ends have a circular outline in the middle. I cut around the middle of the frame where the RED lines are at, and then cut with a utility knife around the circle part of the frame. So pretty much you're getting rid of everything I've marked with BLACK X's. It fits the bag so much better and looks good too. Hope you enjoy you're new Carolina. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be at the ESD event this weekend if you're gonna be there I'll show you mine.
