Missing Baskets?

I was just watching fox news just a second ago, they were showing damage in vestavia about the possible F1 that went through there area monday. they were showing a personal lot that had baskets that had a round #plate at the top, and trully looked like our missing one. Would that not be great

I promise were those trees are down the basket was in its camera view just behind the reporter. Just need to know were the trees are down at

I'm going to check my DVR as soon as i get home and see if they re-ran that piece. I know a lot of the local shows do that.

That would be awesome, but I'm betting what you saw were some old hand-made baskets that are in this little park across the street from Vestavia Elementary School.
This was also right by where most of the damage from the storm was.

No idea on who put them in there or when, but last time I checked, there were 3 of them in the park. The baskets are really weird looking, they look hand-made and are really short, like half the height of a regular basket. I've actually never even gone out there to throw on them cause the park is really small and very crowded with walkers, kids, etc..

Here are the GPS coordinates to the park. 33.450117,-86.786027 I tried to see if you could see the baskets using "Google Street View" but they are too far off the road.

All that said, it is still definitely worth researching.

I know someone who lives next to the elementary school where the baskets are. He said there was damage to some houses right next to him. So it's probably not #17.
