I will never play another Keith Johnson event! This is an A tier and is only paying 250 for 1st in masters! That is LAME!!!!

That basically means there is not one dollar of added cash to the Masters division if he's paying out on the 40% scale........and TK is right......LAME indeed.
$1500.00 of required added cash for an A Tier and not one buck to Masters?
That being said...KJ usually runs good events, so I hope it is some sort of math error. If not, OUCH!

There were several complaints about the Am Worlds that he ran a few years ago.
Did it have anything to do with Steady Ed's stroke? Guess we will never know!

Apparently money isn't a problem....$5570 added to Open.

And he's paying 50% to all divsions so my previous # of no added cash is wrong...he added somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 to Masters out of the $6000 added for all Pros.

That sucks Tim... congrats though. Hate to say it but Atlanta disc golf is the dictionary definition of lame. Keith Johnson is one of many problems with that club. Too bad... they have so many people participating... it could be a hot bed of disc golf... instead, a bunch of prima-donnas & d-bags. John Ritger, Atlanta resident, good golfer, good guy... someone like him needs to take over that situation. Just my not so humble opinion.

I said the same thing about ATL disc golf last year on the ADGO forum and obviously they piled on to me like kids on a hay wagon. They have a huge membership but only 2-3 people that actually get things done.
As for Keith Johnson, he really isn't a bad guy, he just has to be a prick or they run all over him. Without him, the local scene in ATL would be even more bleak.
The payout issue is because the people adding cash say they want it in a particular place and that is that. I am going to start specifying that my added cash go to age protected and Am divisions. I am tired of padding the Open payout and then listening to all the whining about wanting more.

Bill, if you will get on Peter Shives Email list, you will see my comments about splitting the Worlds into Age Protected Divisons for Pro and AM! You may also see the comments from the Seniors who were there.
