Sunday morning Feb. 1st there will be a round at cooper green. If you have a temp basket show up at 9am to help set up a course, for others who want to play tee off will be at 10am.

I am sure if we could get a walk through bf sunday several would show up. I've got a basket as well. I have a soccer game sunday at 1 out in trussville, so I probably won't stay for the whole round but if I leave early just make sure someone grabs my basket.

I got good news AND bad news about hole #14.

Bad news first.
I lied.

Good news.
The actual measurement of hole #14 isn't 1440, it is really only 1260. Easy 5.

We sorta' kinda' couldn't pass up the numerical alliteration. First time Chuck Kennedy played it he said, "so, how long is it really?" We were busted, but he didn't tell on us.

I'm jealous of your Sunday fun. CG is worth fighting for. Ya'll enjoy.

Thanks to D.B. and Richard for spending the day out there marking out the course. We should have everything very close to the original layout. I hope everyone likes it.
This is really cool, how everyone is helping to make this happen. Big pat on the back to DGB. This is the kind of thing a cohesive club can accomplish.
BTW, please drive slow up and down the hill through the houses and be very careful leaving at that stop sign across from the church. They have a new paved parking lot, so membership must be up and they will probably be packed .

Don't let the first 9 holes lull you into a false sense of security. The challange starts on # 10. # 14 is 1,200 ' , a good par 5. Might be good to send out a spotter on 14, 15, 16, and 17. Tall grass.
