Whats the general opinion of this course? Hilltopper calls it a monster. Is it fair? Worth the drive? How do I get there? Lets here some feedback.

I loved it when I played it. Its a very pretty course. LOTS of elevation change... good mix of long and short holes. You may wanna bring a weed wacker to find your disc if you get in the rough however . I would definately recommend making a drive to play it. Its not that far and its a different kind of course.

Despite being stung by a yellow jacket the last time I was there, Tuscaloosa is a great course. It is pretty long and, as Jeremy says, it is pretty punishing when you miss the fairway. I would not say, however, that you need a weedwacker. It does not compare to #s 2, 17 & 18 at Trussville as far as tough rough.
Definitely worth the drive. Let me know when you plan on going and I might be able to go with.
