They usually send out a product notice. Sounds like the groove on the Monach.
All they have to do is put that rim on any other disc and have new one. Could make the Boss easier to control. . Thanks for the heads up.

I just got the update. They ship this "Spring". Maybe sooner. Weights can go a little lighter due to the groove in the Groove"

when are they gonna press those 150 dx bosses...grrrr
ChrisP.

They're not making bosses in DX just yet....but they have molded star bosses in lighter weights in the mid 160's.
Geoff...usually only max weights are available in first runs...I'd say 171-2g at the lightest for the initial batch.

I have seen one of these in person and they are Boss like in the thickness of the rim, but the Groove on the disc takes about 1/4 of the big rim out of the picture. This Disc is going to be very, very, very popular due to the Speed of the Boss, less stable and a smaller rim for players with smaller hands. Can't wait to get one.

Justin, I totally agree. Sounds like he's already been up to some new tricks here! (Maybe he's on to something here!) You know he is the innovative sort!

Anybody have any performace feedback on these disc yet? I dont have the arm speed for the Boss and am hoping this may be more for me.

You can get the Groove in lighter weights. That will help you add some speed and snap I bet you could crush one. Go for it!

The only thing I can compare the GROOVE too is a Star Valkyrie. I mean they have the speed of the BOSS but they are kind of Flippy. Lighter weight would be my recommendation especially for slight headwind and big tailwind drives. They really hum.

My early impression....."meh". I'm going to need to throw it a bit more, for whatever reason I can't throw it as far as my boss (which doesn't really make sense).

I like the critic Justin, "meh" It's those guns of yours is why the Boss is butter to you.
No where to buy new disc around here.

i like it because i can throw it straight or through a tighter gap than i can throw the boss. i can still throw the boss a bit further, though.
