grey dust along walking trail

im trying to figure out what the purpose of the grey moon dust like substance is along some of the new walking trail. its quite messy and i hope its not gonna stay. if my disc lands in it, i have to go and wash it off in the creek to get it completely off. maybe when it rains again it'll turn into a gravel or something.

it looks to be topsoil with zero moisture. we just need a good rain and it should pack down.

They will soon be laying sod, two pieces deep along the trail.

new sod aught to make the place look quite spiffy. i guess that dust might just be there to help the sod take to the ground better. thats gonna be my guess but at least i know its not just gonna be left that way. thanx

They were loading up the old bridge today. Also putting up the stands for the new gate!
