DGB/FTH Mini Tournament Ready To Go!

The preperations for the Free The Hops mini tournament are almost completed. Just a few added details: The FTH crew will be making Satellite TV's available so we should be able to catch both the Alabama and Auburn games! Also, veggie burgers (with dressings) will be available!


Tournament Details:

Saturday, September 9th
24 Holes @ George Ward Park

Sign ups: 9:00 - 9:45
Players Meeting: 9:50
Tee Off: 10:15

Am w/out lunch - $5
Am w/lunch - $12
Pro w/out lunch - $10
Pro w/lunch - $17

(25% of tournament entry - lunch will go to FTH, 75% payout)

There will be casual doubles in the afternoon. Format & cost to be decided, no more than $5 per person, 100% payback.

Yeah, The registration will be at hole 16's pavillion. I figured since we're going to be doing the awards there (if we can get the band to take a break, haha) we might as well do the registration. I'm going to have one large banner sign (thanks Richard) to put up as you come into the parking lot and several small ones to post down the service road towards 16.

I made up some signs that we can hang at the regular parking lot directing people for the tournament around to the pavilion.

I will hang some of the signs tonight and the rest in the AM.

I also put together a stack of plastic that you are welcome to add to the CTP's and prizes.

The event was huge. 33 first time tourney players. 70 in all.
Joe spanked the other 3 pros - 15 to -9.
Justin, Vik etc did a great job. Had 2 carload's from H'ville/Athens.
The beer and BBQ was super and pleantiful. It was on the news tonight.
Next event is the Ace Race on the 30th/1st. Will be signing players up tomorrow and most afternoons next week. BTW, the discs are ESP plastic and maybe a cross between the Buzz and the Glide.
Justin, I'll be out in the morning if you want to drop off those tags.
