The storm on tuesday did a number on hole 17

A large tree about 175 ft tall that was on the left edge of 2's fairway right by the bowl fell across 17's fairway right in the middle of the privot island that divided the left and right approach to the bucket.

it has the hole totally blocked, gonna take some serious work to clean this up.

Also on the trail going to 18's tee, a large pine tree fell blocking the path.

there are lots of of limbs and trash scattered all over the rest of the course also, i swear it looks like a tornado came through. the hole city of t'ville was hit hard with tree's on houses, tennis courts, ect.

So if anybody has some spare time to do a little cleanup on 17 and 2 please come on outwhen you cane, or we could schedule a work day.

Unfortianatly i will be heading to worlds next Wed, and will be gone for a week and a half.

I am going to move 17 to the short position today, so only the right side really needs to be cleared.

the left side is dangerous the way the tree is leaning against another one, i think it will take someone that is experienced in tree removle to clear the left side safely. if you know somebody that can do this, see if they can help.

Might be worth getting Joe Meadows to call in the chainsaw troops from Trussville Parks and Rec. They could also get that leaner tree right behind 18's pad at the same time.

I talked with my brother-in-law last night who works with T'ville parks and rec about the situation. He is going to call and see what and when they can get out there. By the way, he did say that city officials of T'ville are very impressed/pleased with the way Dgolf has taken off, the amount of people they see using the course, the way it looks and compliments the city, it stays clean no trash, etc. They are actively working toward resolving issues so a second course can be put in.
