This obviously has nothing to do with disc golf, but since a lot of you have asked I figured I would give you guys a link to our schedule for games this fall.

Maybe I'll see some of you guys out at the games (This will also give you guys an idea about when I won't be out at the course.) Hope to see some disc golf support in the stands. Tickets are I think 5 dollars but I have a guest list for home games where I can get up to 5 people in the games for free, now two spots usually go for my parents or my fiancee's parents, but that leaves two possible spots open. Just contact me at least a day in advanced I can probably get you on the list.:cool:

When work slows down in a couple weeks i'm _deffinetly_ making some games. After watching the world cup this year i'm in a soccer mood!

Little soccer update for you guys. I'm working on getting a poster to put up on the bulletin board to let you guys no where the games are but in the meantime I'll just post by here. We actually play today, saturday september 23 at 2 oclock at our home field (behind the waffle house on university). We're ranked #25 in the nation currently. This is our first conference game so please come out and support your local soccer squad. thanks :cool:

I just wanna thank the disc golf community for coming out and supporting me in my last regular season home game. The chants of D-Rake were fantastic. You guys helped up reach an overall attendance of over 2700, I new record for us and definately motivated us to one of our biggest victories in my four years here. I really wish I was in town this weekend for a celebratory round of golf, but we're headed to Miami for our final game of the regular season. We'll be back sunday, but I'm not sure what time. I'll try and post and get out in the evening for a round though. Thanks again guys, it really meant a lot to me :cool:

Jeremy, I had no idea you were so...vocal on the field. Why don't you yell like that during disc golf? I had a blast even though I don't have much voice today. That was the first ever college sporting event that an official responded directly to my heckling. Neat. Your parents were nice too, hope they didn't think we were too obnoxious...

UAB won their C-USA opening round game against South Carolina 3-2. They play SMU on Friday.

Also, Jeremy was named academic all american.

Thanks guys, glad to see you're keeping up with the team. If you were wondering why my name wasn't mentioned in the write-up its cause I'm not there. I picked up an injury this past saturday during our game vs FIU down at there place. Actually it was during the very last second of the game. To make a long story short I got kneed in the kidney...lacerated it... bruised my colon... been in and out of hospitals since then til today (This is my first contact with the outside world since monday :-P). The team is doin well and if they keep up the good work and make the NCAA tournament, maybe I can join them come december for the final four. For now though both my soccer career and disc golf career are on hold, so don't expect to see me on the course anytime soon :(
