First scheduled work day is Sunday, June 1st at Trussville.

8AM - 12PM - Just in time for doubles at GW!;)

We'll have plenty of water on ice!

We'll need someone to bring a couple of Gas Weed Trimmers and a battery powered Sawz-All, shovels and whatever else is needed to trim up and remove stumps on 2, 3, 5, 17 & 18.

Thanks,

Chris P.

BTW, I'll keep updating this thread with future work days and tasks needed.

Chris,
I hope this email finds you doing well. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the work day that Sunday, my daughter has her college orientation that Sunday and Monday so I will be out of town. Let me know if there is anything I can do prior to June 1st. Did you have any luck relative to the metal sleves for the water cooler stands?

Joe

Yes I did. How many and how long? I need to cut it into sections.

Hey now!
I'm thinking 3, each 18" long, tight enough for a 4x4 to slide down in, don't want them to wobble. Put a watering station on holes 5, 10 and 15 what do you think?

Thanks to all who came out to help with the work-day at Trussville.

TimK., Jeff W., Bill T., Justin L.(even though he was out until 3AM the night before at BrewFest!!), Viktor "ThePowerhouse" H., CarrieP.,& Tim W., Lilly & Sport.

We got alot cleared & stumps removed on 3,5,17,18. TK is going to spray Poison Ivy and Brush herbacide on 2,3,17,&18 in the near future and the course should be in great shape!

sorry I couldnt make it, had to settle for the 10AM round at GW in order to stay close to the house and monitor my habitat cameras (one of which indeed went down after the storm at noon) :(

Any idea if hole 1 will be moved for the A-Tier?

We will play it "old school" up on the hill from the big pad and Am Women will play from the old Am Tee.

NO, NO, NO........only hole 1. Because the shot MUST cross the street to be in bounds & a re-tee if missed! Simma daan now!:)

Thanks to whoever trimmed up holes 2 & 18 at Trussville recently!

Randy has a lead for me on two FREE golf carts! :)

I've also got the "hook up" on as much free ice as we need.

If anyone would be so kind to let us use their 5 gal water cooler or regular cooler for ice storage, please bring them to league night next wednesday that way I can fill them all at once with ice.

Chris 2 questions. How much water are you planning on having on each course. 2nd if int women are playing from different tees on one, will we be able to get round ratings? Also still would love 6 at gw long instead of left.

1. Alot.

2. If there are enough propagators you will get official ratings but maybe no 'unofficial' ratings. I could just make the Am Tee the 'drop zone' for that hole and you guys could play the hole like everyone else. You must get to the other side of the street to be in bounds. Do you think that shot is too difficult for most Int. Women to make consistently? It's a lose-lose situation for me. I think there are going to be enough propagators though. What do you think?

3. Hole 6 is righty friendly but there are just as many lefty friendly holes that righties have to make a tough shot as well.

I cant make it across the street, but I rather have the drop zone and get a round rating than risk not getting a rating.

Chris P. and myself moved the bulletin board today, so everything is complete now for the new hole 1 transition.

Also on a side note, hole 1 will be played in the new position and not accross the road.
