Accident at George Ward

Talked to Marshall earlier today, and he told me about a guy falling out of a tree on hole 4. Does anybody know the status of his injuries or who he was?

marshall said he was trying to get a disc and fell from the very top of the berry tree

Someone told me the guys name was Neil. Supposedly he was about 40 feet up and was working his way back down when he slipped. He hit several branches and then basically did a free fall from about 20 feet up. The guy I was talking to said that he had some injuries to his face and head and that it looked like he broke his arm.

Hope he is OK.

Does anyone have a contact with the hospital or the paramedics that could get a little more info?

Wow that is absolutely horrible! Anxious to hear if this guy is ok.

From I was told yesterday, in the fall the guy broke his arm, ripped off his ear and broke his back in 3 places. He's not paralyzed but is wearing a body cast and will survive. Several of us at league signed a get well card.
