Hey All, its that time again, to adopt another Trussville teepad. I have the cash for 10 more pads. The ones that I see that really need it are Pro 12 (TK and I will frame this one), 8 Am (Make it 10 feet long, 5 feet wide in the front and 6 feet wide in the back, and dug in as much as possible in the front), 6 Pro (12x5x7), 7 Pro (12x5x7) and 16 Am (Make it 10 feet long, 5 feet wide in the front and 6 feet wide in the back, and dug in as much as possible in the front). Lets start with these and have a pour either Wednesday September 6 or 13.
The next round of five will be 3 Am, 5 Pro, 11 Pro, 12 Am and 17 Am. Hopefully we can do this pour on September 20 or 27.
That leaves only 15 teepads left, and we will be looking for funds at that time. We will get the bulletin board up next week and hopefully the practice basket in then as well. Let me know what hole you are adopting. Thanks ALL!

Hey Michael, There are some roots in the way of 7 Pro. Feel free to move the pad back a few feet (but only a few feet) if you need to work around the roots. Be sure to keep the same line though. Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed that. Richard Brown and I are going to get out on Labor day and knock it out. He is thinking about renting a tiller so we may try and take down a couple that day.

Great! Thanks for your efforts and tell Richard thanks as well. Feel free to recycle some of the wood that we used for framing other teepads. There is also some spare wood behind the 3 Pro teepad.

I'm sure i'll talk to you guys about it while were in Mobile but i'd be up for doing a bit of work on Monday.
I'll probably be out there an evening or so a week, i'll post up here. I'm going to concentrate on mainly getting the pads dug out and semi level. I think i'm almost to the point of being able to actual frame a pad...we'll see how that goes...haha.
Viktor, i've still got your breaker bar thing....

Ross Bridge! You got room for another... and can you pay my greens fee?
That's cool Viktor. I will look forward to hearing about your round. I hear it is very long. I assume Richard and I will be out there all day so come on when you get done.

I worked today for about an hour on placing rocks on each side of the trail going from #2 to #3. Still not finished on it but it looks nice.

I was out there yesterday and the rocks really look good, thanks for takeing the time to do that. also talked with the park people, they will be cutting the grass soon. Plus randy fortenberry has started building benches and has put the first one up on hole 1 yesterday, thanks randy! he also put up the bulletin board.

I went out again yesterday and added more rocks to the trail between #2 and #3 so now I am about half way down with it. Looks really good and I can't wait to complete it. I think it gives a more professional look to the course as does the newly installed bench and bulletin board! I think it would be a good idea if all of us just picks one hole a piece and works on making it look better and up keeping it. The better the course looks, the more people will wanna play it!

Joe/Tim, is this on for the 13th? If so, what time to show up? I wouldn't mind helping out on a couple in order to learn how its all done.

I went by Home Depot to check out the prices on getting a tiller to soften the pads for digging. Four hours for $46 or all day for $66. I'll be willing to pay the cost if we can get enough people together to hit all the pads we need for the pour. At the least I need someone with a truck to haul the tiller to and from Home Depot. I figure we can have them all ready for digging in a few hours.
