I just wanted to repost this since the doubles thread is getting huge, anyways i had asked if anyone can keep in mind while cleaning garages and what not to toss scrap wood to the side for t-pad forms on the am tees in trussville.. If you have scrap that can make stakes for the forms or thin board and different board for the forms itself then please post i will set up to pick it up at gw and begin to get those things together.. Thank you everyone.

I am going to mark for 18 new pin placements this week at civitan, alll the new placements will make the course much easier to play as everything will be shorter exept for a couple.

I have the sleeves, just got to put them in!

I would like to have them done by the middle of feb.
Once they are marked we could have a work day and see how many we can get done in a day. We are going to have to get some bags of quikcrete, what is the cost on those?

I have a bundle of about 50-100 stakes 1/2'' x 2" that are about 24" long and have points on them. We can cut them down to 12" if we need to.

I may be able to donate 30-50 or maybe even more short 12"x1/2"x2" pointed tip stakes. Possibly some 5" long hubs also.

Lemme know!

I will be glad to donate materials necessary to construct a foot bridge, similar to the one constructed on #18, across the ditch on #10/#11 and a second one for #18. Let me know if you need more quick crete, I'll be happy to donate a few sacks.

Since TK will be out of town I'm going out Fri at 3:30 to pour as many pin placements as possible and would love any sort of help we can get. I plan to also put in time on Saturday.

Anyone who can help, we need 5 gal buckets for water and another level or two.

The goal is to have all the pins poured by next week so we can have the course in the mini setup at least 2 weeks before tourney time.

I can make it on Friday. Lets throw a few holes at george or civitan before 3:30 then do them pads. I have at least one big bucket for water.

ANYONE READING!

I'm leaving work today at 1PM, should be out at Trussville by 2.

thanks to mike davis and jd sansom for coming out today. we got eight of the new pins poured, which covers all but one placement I'd like to use in the Mar 1 mini. Course is going to be much more fun for those without pythons for arms :)

TK, if you read this Mike and I decided to ride up to Bowling Green early in the AM and likely come back Sun night so I'll have to help you finish up on a weekday next week if there are more to be done by then.

Baskets have been moved to new pin placements.
1,3,7,10,14,15,17,18
And also 11 was moved by the river.
This will be the set-up for the mini on March 1st.
Have fun.

got out after the rain today w Mike D, Justin Irvin and Ralph Ables.

this setup rocks. 11 is a bit hairy with the little cahaba up (my max should be halfway to florida by now) :D We may have to move it long if the water is raging at the tourney, stay tuned.

What was the low score?

Jebb
02-17-2008, 06:34 PM
+1 was the low, +17 the high. In dryer conditions, probably 3-5 strokes lower on avg.

jdisc

+17... dang.

Jebb

I had some disasters (other than the lost Star Max in the raging river), like a couple of sixes and an eight, my score was +14 :p

cant wait for it to dry out, I dont have the cat-like balance of Mike D in his 13.5 shoes :)

I believe I have the ability to shoot somewhere between even and +4 on this setup.

"Tiger"

what did you shoot on the longer setup?

Jebb
02-17-2008, 09:34 PM
my best score on the original setup is +6, and as high as +14

soooo... today was fun but it just wasnt a good round.
