Its most likely that the Golden Jacket (fall edition) is going to play on both courses, however if the tournament is more of an "intro" to the spring event and is decided to be kept at one course for simplicity which one would you rather see played?

Even though George Ward is a seasoned course, I really would like to see a tournament held at Trussville. I want to see how it stands up. That course has come a long way to not have a tournament on it this year.

I agree with vicktor, I think everyone would love to see a tourny on a new course. I love GW But i think it would be good for T'ville to see a tourny there, plus food, lodging is all just 5 minutes from the course. The course will be ready for tourny play!

Yeah, there was some discussion about this the other day and it got a few people curious.

Personally, I'd say you don't play Trussville unless the pro pads are done. At least all the ones that have tricky footing (which is about 90% of them). But since i'm "on that commity" I can safely vote Trussville becauase i know TK & Joe will do whatever needs to be done to get Trussville ready to go!

Like tim or joe said before, i think its good to show the city of trussville that letting us play in their yard brings people from all over the state in to spend money in their town.

T'ville for sure. I know that if we get some bigger numbers for the next concrete pour we can have the course ready. Once again, I am engineering/physical labor challenged--I can do what I am told but any time spent on the tee-pads by myself would be a waste. Someone (Justin/Vik/Joe/Tk) let me know when you plan on working and I will try my best to be there to lend a hand. Of course I will be at the pour next Wed.

I give. I'm confused. Sorta, kinda WHEN is the Golden Jacket. I need to plan ahead to be able to come. Is there a date yet? I hope things get worked out. I'm pulling for all of you.

WHERE? Doesn't matter. Civitan and GW are both on my "favorite courses in Birmingham list". But, playing both would be awsome. I agree with Joe, Civitan can be "in process" and still be tournement ready.

T.K., I may be little late for the Trussville pour. Go ahead and start without me. I will be there in spirit.

I'm not from the area, but I think we'd goto a tournament at Trussville before one at george Ward

My 2¢. Trussvegas. (Looks like I'm pretty much in agreement with almost everybody). So where's the dissent?

What about 3 somes on both course's.? That is really sweet and it moves at a smooth pace.

I think the problem only arises if we're talking about small numbers. If the numbers are super small, there's no point in doing two courses, and since GW really has a monopoly on all other tournaments, IF, and only IF we had to move to one course, I would suggest t-ville.

The plan as I see it so far is two rounds on both course's, Sept 16/17.
Maybe someone ,DGB, could hold a two round event at T'ville during the Pro Worlds, Aug 5/6 or 12/13? Break it in .See how it plays with 12 -18 three somes. Make suggestions before the Jacket.

Unfortunatly I was asked by no less than 4 groups of people last weekend in Hartselle "What's the deal with the tournament?" and I had absolutely nothing to tell them. Is it normal to be this close into the tournament and not have any information firm?

Considering that I don't think throwing another unplanned short notice tournament in the mix would be the best the for disc golf in Birmingham. Just trying to look at it from an "outside" perspective.
