So my pal Ben S. and I are playing George Ward late Wed. and as we walk up to 18 Ben comments on the players in front of us "They better hurry up so I can get my ace and get out of here".

You know the rest. He's a lefty, so 18 is really a matter of clearing a couple of trees on the left and slicing back in. He hits it perfect...when he threw I see it hit near the tree, reach down in my bag and then... ching. Ben naturally goes nuts. Skip ace, no doubt. I had thrown a sharpie in my bag for just such occasions (million monkeys, shakespeare, you know). and there it was. we signed his brand new wraith he'd bought from Tom last week and Ben called damn near everyone he knew. I thought he might call his mom for a minute there.

I did comment that he wrote it too big on the back. there's probably only room for like 1 more. And based on today I think he's going to be a case study on the durability of star plastic cause he's going to throw that disc at every opportunity.

It was cool. It didn't affect my terrible round other than he bought me some beers afterward.

When i saw where the disc was going to hit the ground, I thought it was only going to be a decent shot. So I turned around to grab my bag and get off the tee. Then I hear the almighty 'ching'. The group that just shot had all turned around to look at it and they were just standing there so I started to run down the hill arms raised hollering like an idiot.

It was sweet. Thanks to all who signed my disc.

or start throwing left handed (grumble).

actually #4 at george ward is going to give it up. its only a matter of time (and then they'll move it).

I've hit every single basket in every single placement (except for 14 long and 15 at any spot), many of them multiple times... I'm just unlucky. But I guess I'd rather have a solid game than a hundred aces anyway

So when do you expect that to kick in? ;)

Soo....you have hit all the baskets on #5?

The long two on #11???
The long pin on #13,
The Gold Pin on #16?

But you have not hit the short or middle #15? 15 is almost a gimmie.

I had an argument with Mike Biggs on #15 short when I aced it. He said it was going to go in, and I was adament about thinking I threw it too long, we went back and forth the whole flight. When the disc went in, the smile on his face was bigger then mine, because I was in shock.

Has anyone else ever hit metal on #5 short? I know Ben Long has aced it with a Roc, and I hit right side chains. Who else out there has done it?

Ben aced with a DX beast, not a roc

What a punk! He told me it was a Roc.

After seeing how far he can throw a Omega SS, I was not surprised he could throw a Roc that far.....

It is still a killer Ace.
