Is this color scheme to dark?

I just threw this color scheme up on the quick because it was easy to make a banner for.

But to me it seems a little dark, anyone else have any feelings about it?

What would you like to see? Color wise...

I just think the background needs to be lightened up.

I've deffinetly got a lighter color scheme in the works. Unfortunatly all my time has been taken up doing some work on the Gold Jacket project. Hopefully we'll see some redecorating around here in the fall... :)

Ok. I'm going to put my ignorance of Birmingham disc golf on display for everyone. What is the gold jacket? Is it the DGB equivalent of the green jacket at the Masters (Augusta/Ball Golf)?

Also, there was once a nice diagram of the GW course available online. Is that still available? If so, can someone post a URL?
